ELASTIC is the name of Ray Chung's design consultancy specializing in bridging the physical and digital worlds.

For over 20 years, Ray has helped numerous clients grow their businesses and break new ground in both the built world and on the Internet. Clients include: The Green Bay Packers, Cirque du Soleil, JetBlue, Parx Casino, Time Warner, Ritz-Carlton, Walt Disney Family Foundation, The Paul Allen Foundation, Colliers International, Houghton Mifflin, Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, Puma, Timberland, and Zildjian.

In 2014, Ray joined the groundbreaking studio Tihany Design as Senior Designer/Senior Project Manager and oversaw the design and delivery of the ultraluxury cruise ship, Seabourn Encore. Prior to that, he served for nine years as a designer-manager at Rockwell Group, the innovative firm known for its trend-setting hospitality and cultural projects. He was one of the youngest to be named Senior Associate and was instrumental in delivering complex, multimillion dollar projects. Before Rockwell, Ray was a multimedia designer and lead programmer at ditherdog from 1995 to 2001, where he helped invent the first websites with truly interactive interfaces.

Ray holds degrees in architecture from Yale and Harvard. His Master's thesis explored the cultural and architectural justifications for a virtual art museum on the Las Vegas Strip.

He is teaching himself how to play the ukulele but still needs to work on the interface between his fingers and the ukulele strings.
